Fugitive Extradition Transport Team

The transport team has the responsibility of extraditing prisoners from other jurisdictions back to Bonneville County to face justice. We also transport juveniles from 3-B Juvenile Facility to court and back, as well as mental patients from a mental facility to court and back. The transport team is made up of two certified Law Enforcement Deputies, one Records Deputy and a Sergeant. We have two unmarked fully equipped vehicles to transport in.

The goal of the transport team is to transport all prisoners in a safe manner for both the deputy and the prisoner. We work in close conjunction with the court; the jail and the rest of our Sheriff’s office to make sure prisoners are transported in a timely and safe manner.
