Traffic Enforcement

The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Team was implemented in the summer of 2005. The growth of Bonneville County as regional shopping area and recreational area has increased the influx of vehicle traffic related problems. The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office Traffic Team provides awareness, education and enforcement activities to help promote road safety across Bonneville County.

Bonneville County Sheriff's Office has recently acquired a Honda ST 1300 P motorcycle to assist with traffic enforcement. There are currently two Deputies that share in the Motorcycle duties. There are other Deputies that are assigned to handle other areas of traffic enforcement to include aggressive drivers, D.U.I. drivers, and other similar related enforcement needs. The Traffic team works closely with local, county and state agencies to identify safety concerns for traveling public.
